Using MetaTrader with Collective2
If you use MetaTrader to place trades or run your own trading system, you can automatically pipe trades from your MetaTrader into your Collective2 system.
This means that you can find subscribers who will subscribe to your trading system (and pay you, if you wish). These subscribers can then AutoTrade your system at any C2-compatible broker (not just a MetaTrader broker).
What is it?
The C2/MT Interface is an add-on software program that you need to install on the same computer as your MetaTrader (MT). The software was created by Duncan McQueen, who graciously "open-sourced" the project, for the benefit of both the Collective2 and MetaTrader communities. Because this is an open-source project created and maintained by the Collective2 community, anyone can download and use the product for free.
What it's not
The software is not meant to take C2 trade signals from systems that you subscribe to here on C2, and then pipe them into a MetaTrader broker account. (In other words, this is not a "MT4 AutoTrade" product. Rather, this is a tool for people who want to offer their own trading system to the public through C2, and who want to use their MetaTrader platform to develop and run their own system.
Getting started
Are you a programmer?
You do not have to be a software programmer to use this product. Just go ahead and fire it up. But if you happen to be a programmer, you'll also find all the source code at the link above. Feel free to improve the project as you see fit. If you do make modifications, please contribute them back to the open-source community so that others can benefit.
